ARC has launched the ARC X1, its first gaming handheld, powered by the Snapdragon G2 Gen 2 Gaming Platform with 8GB LPDDR5X RAM and 128GB UFS 3.1 storage, expandable up to 1TB via microSDXC.
It packs a 9,300mAh battery with 27W USB PD fast charging and active cooling for sustained gaming. ARC claims up to 8+ hours of gaming in Silent Mode.
The handheld runs OwlOS, a controller-focused operating system based on AOSP, offering native Android and cloud gaming, per-game performance profiles, controller mapping, FPS overlays and Quick Resume.
Other features include Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.4, USB-C with display output, dual stereo speakers and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The battery and joystick caps are replaceable, while modular components are designed to improve repairability.
